About Stellar Technologies

The Overview

Stellar Technologies, formerly known as Open Source Solutions, began in March of 2004. The company consist of myself, Glen Smith, and my wife Joy. We are currently offering home and small business computer users on-site computer support, remote computer support, computer repair, information systems design, web hosting, and technical consulting at very competitive prices. Our customer satisfaction rate is nearly 100%. We strive to get to know our customers and their technical needs. We truly care about offering the best possible service. Our headquarters is currently in Evansdale, Iowa.

In 2006, we added web application design and development to our list of service. Our current web offerings include full site designs, content management systems (CMS), and word press themes.

Our Stellar Team

Glen Smith was first bitten by the ”tech bug” shortly after he completed his first installation of Red Hat Linux in 1996. This naturally got him interested in other technical venues such as webdesign and programming.

In 2004 Mr. Smith decided to start his own business so that he could enjoy the freedom of working in all fields that interest him: freelance system administrator and web design/development.  

If he is not busy working he can be found spending time with his wife, playing with one of his kids, watching a mixed martial arts bout, or playing his guitar.

Joy is a full time homemaker with three children and one on the way. She helps Glen on a part time basis when he really needs the help. Her hobbies include blogging and crocheting.
